Historical Timeline
1984 – Nov 1 – The Jackson facility combined forces with the Ben-Rich Center in Brownsville. The agency name was changed to Madison Haywood Developmental Services to reflect the broadened service area.
1986 – Mar 1 – Level IV duplex was purchased at 603 N Highland
1987 – Aug 1 – Supported Employment program is launched through Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation
1987 – Nov 23 – Level II Medicaid Waiver Home opens at 177 Tinker Hill Road
1988 – Oct 7 – Addition completed at Garland Workshop
1988 – Dec 28 – Level II Male Home opens at 1620 East Chester
